The tracklisting is fake as you could have read. That almost most certainly means that the track is fake as well. And to be more precise, it is fake as confirmed by XL-Recordings ;)

Oh, and in the Collectors thread someone posted something about trading items. If you go to his or her web site you can see a 'scan' and tracklisting of No Souvenirs... We probably all remember Greg Bedwell with his made-up No Souvenirs? Well, that's what you will find on that persons web site! ;p As you can see, some people really believe everything they are told...!

Personally I have never written that electronic music as a style is bad. I like electronic music. But taste is personal and not everyone will like this style of music. There are plenty of people who would prefer other genres above electronic.

The Prodigy's style is Prodigy. I don't think that you will ever hear them disagree with that. I don't think that you can classify their music, I don't think that you can put their style into any box or genre. The Prodigy don't put themselves into little boxes either, then why would we? As long as we like their music, it's fine with me.

Till now I've (almost) always made reasonable postings. For as far as I remember I have never sworn (or is it sweared?) on this Board. I think about what I post. I also think about why I post certain things and how I will write it exactly.

Please quote me the part where I am defending this person, you cannot. In fact, I stated several times that I do not classify the music The Prodigy produce, I dislike putting them into certain boxes. I like to think that the music they produce is Prodigy as a style and nothing else. Please keep in mind that swearing is a sign of weakness, a sign of being unable to express yourself.

As for 'Firestarter', I am sure that he doesn't mean it bad. He's a fan like everyone on this Board. But I think that he needs to pay attention on the general Net-etiquette. Swearing doesn't contribute to discussions, but only turn them into flame wars which are no use and a waste of time. He's just as welcome as everyone else on this Board.

If someone thinks that Prodigy is not electronic music, then that's their opinion. I don't think Prodigy is electronic, I don't think it's anything - Prodigy is Prodigy and their style is... well, Prodigy ;) Catagorizing music is a bad thing I think.

What is the use of flaming? There is no use, it is only bad for your blood pressure. Also, it shows that you're young and it doesn't honor your intellect. By reacting with good arguements you can have a usefull discussion whereas flames only ask for more flames... and more flames and more flames. Why do you think that I try to motivate myself when I reply? I don't want to flame people myself.

You won't be banned for giving your opinion. You won't be banned if you take part in discussions. You will probably banned however if you call people names for no reason for instance.

I've read some older threads on this Board and I cannot find the part where anyone says that The Prodigy are bad or that their music sucks. Please quote me the parts where people wrote such things. All I've seen is people giving their opinion with motivations and all, never writing that The Prodigy are bad. Why would people come on this Board if they would think that their music sucks? Wouldn't that be dum?

I've been a fan for quite some time and I've learned that everyone has their own opinion about the band, about their music, but all are fans. Some call them the new leaders in punk music, others call them electronic. What do The Prodigy call themselves, what do they call their own music? Nothing, just 'Prodigy' as being the style. Respect other people and they will respect you. Discuss, don't argue. Motivate, don't swear. And this goes for everyone on every single Board or Forum on the Internet.

Try to call down a bit 'Firestarter'. There is no need for starting flame wars or swearing tirades. Having an opinion of your own is good, share it too, but don't start to swear since it is no use at all and it doesn't help you make your point. Chill and try to take things less personal.

New tunes are always welcome. I haven't heard it yet unfortunately, but we will all probably get to hear it soon.

Your reply is sad 'Wolf Eater'. If you think that everyone on this board is lame, you are free to leave. You could also try to behave normal and you will be more than welcome. As a last option you could also try to improve the level of the board yourself if you think it is too low. Two ways to improve the board would be my first two points, depending on you.

For as far as I know her hasn't worked with The Prodigy before. It is said that he would collaborate on at least one track on the new album. And that is all there is to be told. There is no other news about this subject. Nothing else is know, so just keep an eye on the news...!

P.S.: nuclear sucks, it's a good thing the new album is turning out to be quite electronic

Have you heard it yourself live at a concert? It sounds much better if you are there yourself than when you hear it from MP3. Also, it is not said yet that both Trigger and Nuclear will appear on the new album (if there will be one). They might be only meant as 'fillers' for their live performances like Rock 'n' Roll and Gabba.

Second of all, I don't know this other band and to be honest I am too busy to find any of their music. Besides that The Prodigy deside themselves with whom they collaborate. If they will choose that band, then we will hear. Remember that stating things like these is actually no real use since The Prodigy won't listen to us anyway and do their own thing. Postings like these are useful to show others what you think would be a good mix of artists. If the other people don't know that artist then the use of the posting is lost like in my case, hence I didn't reply.

For the moment I cannot judge myself since I get a 'Zero Sized Reply' back when trying to download the file... Anyway, some respected fans like Des told me it was a sad excuse for an Orbital - Satan cover, at least that's how it sounded to him. I hope that I can share in the laughter and listen to it later today still...! ;)

actually, i believe it, i can believe a lot of the statments, plus the titles go well with the new army theme.

It is an obvious fake if you ask me. As I've always said, don't believe the hype. I know so many people who claimed certain things, but in the end they were always wrong.

If some respected fans state something, then I am more tend to believe what they say. People like the one who wrote this are total strangers. They state things, but have no proof. You have to believe such people on their word only.

Would you give the key to your house to a total stranger who tells you that he or she will not steal anything? You wouldn't and neither should you just believe everything strangers tell you.

In case of this tracklisting, where does this person has his or her information from? There is no mention of it which we could investigate/check. You only have this persons word. It all seems too unlikely. The titles, the whole story, but it's good for a laugh, it really is ;)

Not just a laugh about the story, but more a laugh about the person who wrote it. That person spent time on writing bull and what for? That is the most sad thing you could do and I feel sorry for that person really...

I don't get why anyone should have heard parts of the album without mentioning who he actually is, that he experiences such a treatment.

That's why there are promotional items for instance. People who receive such an item would be able to listen to some if not all tracks. But such items have not been issued yet for any new material by the band and I know that for 100% sure.

Another chance would be then that this person has been to a so called launch party where they play some if not all tracks. But launch parties are never given very far in advance and by then most people have already seen pictures of the new release or have heard sound files already. Besided this, artists hardly ever release an album without giving out a single first. Thus such a launch party is not possible in my humble opinion either.

A third option would be that this person is friends or something with the artists themselves, has a friend working for the record company et cetera. In such a case he or she would be able to get to hear maybe some of the music in advance without having to hear it from a promotional copy which has been given out to the 'public' (only a selection of people). Again, this is very unlikely since such people never post things like these really. They would keep it a secret.

As a conclusion I can say that a lot of people thus far who read this specific message have said that it was probably a load of bull, a fraud, a fake, a silly rumour. This tracklisting is in my opinion still fake too. I've seen better hoaxes to be honest ;) Ah well, like I wrote before, it's good for a laugh! ;)
