Point your browser at www.the-prodigy.org and go to the Links section there. I've collected the best links around which I could find. Visit all web sites mentioned :)

QuoteWhy don't you just buy a computer. A fat studio soundcard. Download some Steinberg programs or Reason, and find samples on Soulseek??

here you find all the classic breaks:

/Edit

I'm going to start this posting completely over. It seems like I haven't read the Korg web site properly. I've been looking into the ER1 and the ES1. The ER1 has been replaced with the ER1 MKII. I'm curious about the differences between the ER1 MKII and the ES1. "Take a look at the Korg web site," you might say, I have, but I would like a simple answer since when it comes to this kind of equipment I'm a simple person ;) Can anyone explain me the main difference? What I've heard till now is that the ES1 is basically the bigger brother of the ER1 and thus also of the ER1 MKII. Can I do the same with an ES1 as I would be able to do with an ER1 MKII? What can I do with the ES1 which I cannot do with an ER1 MKII (and if applicable, the other way around)? For what I can find out, the ES1 is more of a sampler as well and it has some very nice effects. Looking forward to reading the replies. Thank you!

Wave Studio, best freeware in the world ;)

As for all the software, I found some things back the same day I posted that message. But links are still welcome ;)

Some software which I use and used to use. I lost some due to hard disk formats without burning backups... oops ;)

- Cool Edit Pro (used to use Cool Edit 2000)
- Fruity Loops (lost mine, now looking for a new one)
- Fast Tracker
- Impulse Tracker
- Gold Wave
- Wave Studio
- Cubasis (see Fruity Loops)
- Cubase (see Fruity Loops... again)
- Some Roland software (lost it too)
- Buzz
- Close To The Edit (lost it as well... always thought the title of the software reminded me of the A.O.N. ;)

Anyone who could direct me to websites for 'free' software? I'm looking for the ones mentioned above as well as Cubasis Notation, a good drum machine, other good software, et cetera?

Equipment / Re: Good and cheap synth
October 10, 2002, 09:54:07 AM
Another good question I haven't thought about. No idea really what I would like to spend. I would like to keep it cheap at first and as time goes on I can always build up things more. I have no idea what is a normal price for a synth really. I would like something which with I can do several things so that I don't have to buy like ten things at once to be able to do something, know what I mean? I would like to keep my startup nice and simple and I can always expand later I think.

Kind of music, hmm, good question. Something with beats and breaks anyway ;) As for the function, I have no idea.

Equipment / Good and cheap synth
October 09, 2002, 12:21:27 PM
In the past when I would want to use a synth to connect it to my computer, I would always borrow them from friends. Now I would like to buy one myself. I don't know much about synths, so I'm hoping that someone here can give me some good advice as to what to buy. I don't want to spend too much money on it, but I would like a good one. So, what synth is good for me... and cheap? Afterall, I am Dutch ;p

PS why can't i stay logged in when i post a thread!!!!
Maybe you are using Internet Explorer 6 which has problems handling boards like these. Try a lower version like 5.5 SP2. You should post this to the Troubles thread.

Can anybody help me find the following programs for FREE?
Why post warez requests here? This is not the right web site for this. If you would have posted this under the Equipment section you would have been better off I would say.

Also, Fast Tracker, Impulse Tracker and Wave Studio are freeware. Use a Search Engine. You know, you type in a word or sentence and you get back some relevant links to web sites - S e a r c h  E n g i n e? *sigh*
