First in the net JPN presents BGAT

Now you have chance to hear Prodigy's new single Baby's Got A Temper studio quality clip at http://theprodigy.info/exclusive/.

ps. you may notice that the rohypnol line is censored in this version..

Anyway I have heard the promo with the dub mix and instrumental now and I need to say that I'm not that facinated.. more dissapointted indeed. I wasn't really waiting this kind of comeback for five years.. This is not a Bomb to be honest.. just a tune.. dunno. Maybe the album will give something more or maybe the fire has totally gone.

Let's hope the best.

Finnish Radio Mafia has got the BGAT promo

Good news to all Prodigy fans (especially finns;). The finnish radio station Radio Mafia has started to play babys Got A Temper promo frequently. So the promos really exist. The weird thin is that the song actually has the famous Firestarter guitar sample in it. Liam has always recycled samples but I think this isn't that good idea anymore. "It does sound finished, but the samples seem to be 'detached', it just sounds like samples are thrown in here and there". says JPN board member Poisoner.

more info and the discus can be found from the JPN board!

the new Prodigy single scheduled for July

The Prodigy are set to return with a new single entitled 'Baby's Got A Temper'. The song, which features a vocal part from Keith Flint, will be released in July, followed by another single later in the year, most likely titled 'Nuclear'. Howlet also talked about the recording process.

"There are two main differences on this new record. I haven't used my record collection as a source of sounds and samples, and I've tried to bring in other musicians and play a lot of instruments myself."

"The lyrics on the last album didn't have much of a direction. This time the lyrics and the music have more of an equal role. We've come from a dance scene where lyrics aren't very important. We've really tried on this record to make and ask ourselves what we're about."

Prodigy music can kill!

There's a story in the British press today about the Prodigy being used to test laboratory mice doing drugs. Apparently some of the mice died because the drugs and the music messed them up. It was in the U.K Daily Mail, there's an online version of it here http://www.ammocity.com/ammo/link.php?itemid=2843 nad other here http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_439005.html .

You can also spot the report from here.

Some "news"

According to Triplej Music News The Prodigy won't release the albom before 2002. That's not so big news anyway.. but if you are interested you can read the full story at http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/musicnews/s396746.shtml

The band will stay in the militarylook

The Prodigy are always on the thumb and now there have been loads of talk about the new military style. Also people have been talking about the lyrics of Trigger. Cause there are certain places with words like terrorist and skies.. like "Terrorists I hate and despise / Trigger from the troops" and something like "It rains from the sky". Anyway The Prodigy are keeping the military theme of their next album despite the US atrocities. Also songs on Never Outgunned include Nuclear and Trigger.

Thanks for voting my site in the People's Choice Award. My site placed at 301. Not so great placement, but my site was still the only Prodigy site that reached the top1000! See the top1000 here.

New track first online at JPN!

I'm really happy to tell you that I have something really speacial for all Prodigy fans that couldn't see/hear the Prodigy live at Switzerland last friday. I have managed to get the new track called Trigger! And as I said before I'm definitely gotta put those songs online and share to all fans. I personally like that track a lot and it gives more hope and inspiration to me again. Prodigy did it again... thank you guys!

Check also the exclusive section for more info about the track!

New tracks and whole new visual image

So the Prodigy played their gigs with 2 totally new songs. They were called Trigger and Nuclear! They also introduced some new leads between the tracks and totally new army intro. War and army seemed to be the new theme of the Prodigy. I really don't know what to think. Maybe this is somekind of inside joke or something, but they actually had loads of army/war images at the stage and the new merchandise is also very army orientated. A German army shirt with the new Prodigy logo at the back and the German flags on the arms was one of the fan shirts that they sold there. On the stage there were tanks and rockets and red star painted in several places.. and like you might have seen on my front page there are the new logos/symbols. A human head with rocker and new Prodigy logo with a red star in the o-letter.

Prodigy's management says FUCK THE FANS!

as you might know that Bizarre gig was meant to be live streamed online but I guess the tour manager said "NO" again just before the gig and forbid any live broadcasting of it! This means that no matter how much Lowlands and Pukkelpop are planning to broadcast Prodigy live... they will not be able to do it. Also I would like to say that I think the manager is only against the broadcast.. cause I think that Liam and co. would have given permission to broadcast it anyway!

And one pretty sad fact was that there are no pictures allowed at all at the gigs. So don't bother to take your camera with you.

If you wanna share your opinions or see what others think, see the Maxim's forum at his site.

NEW PRODGE TOUR!!

According to the management of the Prodigy, the band will perform 4 live gigs for the first time since 1999 when they played in Sofia. After 2 years of silence 4 European cities will have the chance to see the band with 3 members for the first time. Here are the previewed concerts:

17/08/2001- Avenches, SWITZERLAND
18/08/2001- Bizarre Festival, Cologne, GERMANY
24/08/2001- Lowlands Festival, THE NETHERLANDS

NEW ALBUM IS COMING!

New Prodigy album has got a name now.. it's called Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned. Although we know the name of the fourth album now.. I think the album will be ready after year 2001. Liam has also said that he has got ONLY ONE track ready. So, nothing big has yet happened!

I don't have anymore own big news section or mailinglist here, cause I like to concentrate to my other sections more. But don't worry there is even better way to get Prodigy releated news.
