Tracks / Re: The Tribute Album
March 23, 2002, 06:45:54 PM
1. could be worse
2. nobody waited for better
3. no need to be a genius to understand it was for money
4. the more you're talking about these bastards the more they gets an attention.
5. the more you give them attention the more you play their game.

there is a saying in russia... "iz gryazi v knyazi"... that's mean "[turn] from dirt into prince".. that's those guys are doing... they don't care what you say about their cd, they care about how many people will be talking about it.
so, just, forget about them, and it will ruin them.

The Prodigy releases / Re: Spitfire Video
February 12, 2005, 09:02:38 PM
Actually, the rip of the vidio is in the net for a week or something.I guess the most of fans have seen that one already, including me. The video is ok to me, but could be better because I'm not into a simple "we are cool" scenario. After all, I still think the soundtrack sounds unfinished, something's really miss.

QuoteJob well done on Girls, Zed. Thanks :) Small note though, I would have copied a part of the ending and pasted it over the guy speaking to keep the original ending and track time. The fading out is less nice. Thanks again :)
thanks. but actually, it was just small tuning via eq/high_frequencies_resynthesis. just for temporary listening until i got proper cd version. i didn't want to keep original end, it's too weird for this kind of songs, it's just a reverb with infinite (or very long) decay time, so i ruined it to fit it into my playlist :)

just got hold full version of MB in proper quality, sounds good, ain't blowminding to me, but some tracks doesn't have to be "blowminding". i don't think i can put out proper opinion about the track right now, sounds like Liam tryied to don't use samples and loops at all, and it seems i need a couple of days to feel the track.

I like "Girls", it's nice tune, but i don't think it's gonna fit good into "industrial" album as NME said. Probably, there is more deep sense in releasing "Girls/Memphis Bells" first. Maybe it's just Liam who's trying to find something new, maybe it just a result of switching to another sequencer..

Memphis bells sounds ok, but the sound goes not tight enough, would be good if there is more tight part, that would change whole the impression. Erm, we'll see, I guess it's gonna appear at some radio.

just in case if anyone's interested:

it's really hard to imagine that Liam was 26 when the Prodigy released FOTL and now Liam is 32 and there is nothing actually new out. i think Liam has lost too much of time, and i don't think he's very proud about these years. i had to lost 2 years and that's already scarring me a lot, even while i know it's not my fault. anyway, i don't blame Liam for his lazyness, Liam doesn't have to make an album, and no matter how much of people want it. but Liam have to realize how much of people just live for music sake. it's just pointless and sad to lose time and don't use own talent for good.
but anyway, don't worry, when talent is working then 2 hours is more than 2 years.

QuoteAll I can say is, that it would be a damn pity if you'd stop doing music.
The more you write the better you'll get, but - who I'm telling that!
i'll say more, if i stop doing music then i'll ruin all my life and self-respect. a couple of days ago, i sweared that will never stop, does that mean something for you?

QuoteThat was the bloke with his these weirdos Fleith Kint and Rixma Meatily, or?
nope, it's Atali Naplton.

QuoteOha, forget about that ftp at first, I've got absolutely no time for this right now. I'm glad I can post some short sentences at least.
short? you're flooding pal :)

QuoteThe page looks good, btw.
maybe it's because i'm the webmaster and php programmer?

QuoteHow's the music busines going? Some new TSD-stuff available?
it's still not business, nobody wants send me some money for my music, everybody just annoys "do some new mix!". but atm i'm out of depression at least (that's most imortant). of course i need money to finally change my equipment to start doing the music at new technology level. but now it's not question "yes" or "no" as it was last year. maybe there will be some experimental tracks without "tsd" label online soon. the most important thing is i'm very angry now because of situation, that's a big kick for my ass.
