yeah, a studio is one of the few places where this
macho-attitude is clearly right placed.

hehe  ;)

I think pattern 11 or 8 or urrr dunno was really melodic, a bit like the beginning of SMBU (by the way, my favourite Prodigy-sound ever. I love it. It's the sound of a king)
I've played around a bit and saved to wave per 'what your hear', but I don't wanna do that forever within 10 minutes, so I think I'll just order the full version. Maybe.
erm... actually, yeh, some of patterns sounds pretty good... i just have been almost sleeping yesterday and didn't check any patterns :D

i'm not sure i can buy a full version, i think i just will wait for crack or something...  :P

How is the Vaz? Is it like a real Modular system? Oh yes, Reaktor, I have it, but I never used it, I just don't find the time to get into it. Rubber Duck is the most squelchiest softsynth ever, don't you think? Far better than that crappy Rebirth-303. It scares me!
erm... Vaz Mudular is a some kind of analogue synths. looks very nice to me, and love the sound actually. check http://www.vazmodular.com/

Reaktor really takes much of time, but some of filters i'll be using always. at least all these resynthesis things.

i love Rubber Duck in some sense, but i never doing these standart acid sounds. Rebirth is a really bullshit to me too... i've tried to do something in there a couple of times, but then i uninstalled all the stuff. some mate of mine is really into Rebirth. at least was IIRC. so, i just dunno what to say more about it...

How is CrusherX and WaveWarp?
I'm always on the hunt for a nice softsynth that isn't used by every little Magix-Music-Maker-"songwriter".

CrusherX live is a pretty nice synth with all these resynthesis and 3d clouds thingies.. it rocks to create any weird sounds.. i bet Speedy J uses it. http://www.stelkens.de/sk/crusherx/index.html

WaveWarp is a Reaktor-type synth, i.e. creating your own synths and filters with using small parts...

yeh, a scrubwoman is headache  ;) any woman in a studio is headache...

i've just checked that beat burner.. pretty nice stuff... but pretty stupid limitation in the demo and quite silly demo wav's though  :P

i've got a lot of synths these days... that's, actually, confusing me a lot... just dunno where i should start from... i think i'll be using only Vaz Modular, Reaktor 3, Retro AS-1, Pro 52, FM 7, AXS and good old Rubber Duck... i've chosen these ones   :) but also maybe i'll do some sounds in CrusherX live and WaveWarp... not sure about using SimSynth and SyncModular... but AdSynth, Organator, ChaosSynth and Mass I won't use for sure  :D

yeh... pc must die... i bet Jussi will support us in our hate  ;)

actually, pc sux because of intel cpu and microsoft's bugs... pc's cpu has got really stupid structure... i mean these 64kb segmentation and other stuff... i never was seriuosly into pc coding because i never liked cpu..

but also i should say there is some nice soft is done for pc... of course it still has got a lot of bugs... but i should thank a lot of peeps for the soft...

and of course i'd like to get music hardware, but i need about 30.000-40.000 of $ to get a "standart" studio. but it's a gigantic money for me, i will NEVER get money like that in Russia, even if i get a record deal, even if i sell all i've got... that won't really help.. so, i have to use pc... but anyway
pc sux  8)

Heh.... I recently read you posts at Neko's forum, and I think it's a very popular approach - blame Liam :D I just can't understard Liam, he's the one who has mostly destroyed Prodge fan base. It's sad to realize that there are fans based on a hope, but not a music. But hell with that.

I'm glad you have visited my small remix archive, and honestly, for some reason I  didn't count anyone visit the archive, I just want to have a place to put out some stuff, to keep it out of recycle bin. But I should say there is still a perspective since I upgraded my hardware. Of course it's not a big deal these days, but I didn't throw my dreams and ideas out of my head. Too sad I don't count on Liam anymore.

Reaktor... yeah, that's one of my *hobbies*. The first time I've used Reaktor practically is Carmen Queasy remix. I like to build some stuff, and I love to build simple and unusual/experimental things. And funny thing is that I still receive some ideas from time to time. The bad side is that I'm not skilled enough to put the whole thoughts in English.

Skype... erm... I've got some account... But I'm not really sure it's still alive, gotta check. I use Google Talk sometimes, pretty nice thing with an excellent sound quality.

Anyway, I've got a dozen reason to *comeback*, waiting for new Prodge release is bad way to be in touch. I'll try to be near. Skype or GT, there sould be way to avoid Liam's lazyness :)

Yo!

It's quite strange, but I come here really, really rare these days, now today it was just like a spark - I typed "jugesprodigy.net" and here I am. The strange thing is that I feel like I'm genie and Ekko is the guy who rubbed the bottle :)

The reason I come here rarely is simple - Liam is a lazy bastard. He don't want to release any new material anyhow, and I suspect Juge has lost any actual interest for the band, just like I have. Of course there are some touring, news, "album will be released next year", "we are cool", and stuff, but it doesn't work for me anymore.

I check out Brainkiller, our Russian Prodigy site, and basically nothing else. Of course I'm running my own prodigyremix.com resource, but it's just my Prodigy remixes archive at the moment. Though I'd like to continue remixing and now it's quite possible, I don't have much hardware limitations as was years and years before. The thing I don't have now is the inspiration. And I'm sorry, Liam, I blame you for that. Gotta dig another one somewhere else.

As far as I know Juge has got some serious job and very busy these days. So, the site's been basically frozen for years. I quited ICQ some time ago and have not seen him online for the years. But I feel there will be a reason to contact him anyway.

What's about me else? I'm running some internet projects (prodigyremix.com, synthofmine.com, other russians), supporting Renoise tracker team, and probably do something else.

It's great that you, Ekko, have put some message after these years, I'm glad to see you came back for a moment to the place we met. Would be cool to know how are you these days. And maybe there is a place (protocol) we can *keep in touch*.

General talking / Re: Memphis Bells - Custom Mix!

i would like to download separate samples, then there would be much more interesting unofficial remixes, then xl could make a contest for the best 10 and sell the 5000 copies of the cd with the remixes. this official download of "personalized" mix is crap to me, just moneymaking promo.
