The Prodigy releases / Shite prodigy tracks
July 18, 2002, 10:12:46 PM
Almost everyone is on about the new Prodigy tracks being shit, but I doubt everyone thinks they have NEVER done a bad track in the past.

So the question I ask is what do you think the Prodigy's WORST pre-BGAT track or tracks is/are. Mine are -

Serial Thrilla - Good idea, but I don't think it works. That one guitar chord all the way through makes it sound dull and the drums don't sound right for that type of track.

Come to think of it that's all I can think of............

I've got three Prodigy intrumentals mixed with other vocals. Is there a site where I can put these up?

I've been round the site listening to all the loops. I went into the chat room briefly and someone said one of the loops is Little Goblin and another is Dust Yoself. Can anyone confirm this. Aperently the Previous section loop is Little Goblin and the Keith's live room loop is Dust Yoself?

Couple of the loops were pretty average, but some of them sounded great. The main loop on the missile launcher menu is great. How many loops were there? Did someone say one of them was Little Goblin?

The Prodigy releases / Re: what a drop

Theory, to be honest. But all the bands I mentioned have all had drops from the top five to the top 30 within 1 week. It's in the guiness book of hit singles.

That's pretty impressive!!! That drop is traditionaly associated with bands with a large fan base. Radiohead, Placebo and Blur have all had drops like that. So it sounds like it's mainly the fans who are buying it and not the kids.

It's their live remix of Song to the Siren. I have a recording from when they did it at Brixton Academy back in March if you want. It's top quality cos I recorded it off digital radio.

I brought the book on Thursday and I've been so glued to I finished it today! It's really great, really in depth. It's also got some of the best pictures of the band I've ever seen.  ;D

I'd buy it. Fat of the Land was awesome, and it only had 10 tracks. And how many B-Sides came from the FOTL era? I counted 3, Molotov Bitch, The Trick and No Man Army. That's 13 tracks. Not many really. I woudn't mind hearing more of that style at all.
