General talking / Looking for a song...
September 03, 2007, 07:47:36 PM
Hi folks,

First off, I'd like to say that this is a kick*ss site & forum. I browsed trough most of it looking for any information about the song I'm looking for and I was amazed about all the information on here... Never seen so much stuff gathered on one site... Even samples and equipment used... Thumbs up to y'all!  ;)

Now, to the point... I'm looking for a song, which I've been looking for for a long time. I don't know the titel nor do I know the author.
I know it's drum and bass-ish and it's in an MTV in-between-music-videos-bumper-type-of-clip. It's a short clip that consists of fragments of several other music video's on which MTV probably has put their own music mix. Here's the hard part: it aired early to mid nineties. It has a piece of The Prodigys' No Good video in it. The song is a drum&bass/speedgarage type of song with the main theme played with a slightly high pitched bell sample, followed by some low tone bass-ish sounds.
The whole clip was quite dark (like the prodigy video in the basement).
Maybe some of you remember it? I searched all youtube entries which had MTV in the title or description and I'm currently looking for any kind of email adres of MTV in the hope to contact them... No luck so far... Since I haven't found anything yet, I can't provide any samples of video footage, so I just hope someone remembers...

Why am I going through all this trouble you might ask... Well, I can't seem to get rid of the theme of that song, even after all these years...

Thanks!
