I just read it. Some interesting stuff. They're getting better at coming up with excuses for the controversy they create! The major thing to come out of the article was Liam Saying the album is only 50% complete and he doesn't know how it will turn out. He added that Baby's Got A Temper might not even appear on it!

dessie

I havnt read it yet....

But BGAT might not appear on AONO! oh bliss, best news ive heard in ages.

wolf eater

I hope it doesnt, by the time the album comes out I think we will all be over BGAT.

dessie

Ok Main points:

Aldum only %50 completed, BGAT might not even appear on the album. *Thank God*

Plans to record a track with the pink pong bitches

Heres what NME said about BGAT.....

Just after liam says the next album is going to be the bomb..

Nme reply is "its will have to be. For all its energy and signposted rage, BGAT is hardly the great leap forward we'd expected from the prodigy in 2002.

Still better off reading the interview for youself....better than the face one.

i find the interview pretty poor as well tho, nothing much new.

anyway, scanned it all in

Well it isnt a great interview..the same old stuff....

But I think the photos are a hell of a lot better than the face ones...

DJ Slow

Yeah, Liam was sure looking old on the cover though! He reminded me of 3D from massive attack in that picture.

Thought the NME piece was terrible... like the journo was scared of speaking his mind, in awe of the band or whatever. And he didn't seem to have done any real research on it so he just made the same points that have been made time and again.
Thought the Face piece was better because the journo at least tried to engage with the band on a deeper level. But again, it was pretty boring.
The best artoicle recently was the wddiong piece in NOW! :)
By the way Ping Pong Bitches were going to be on BGAT, but there wasn't enough room!

well, even 'better' is this month's Mixmag feature. You can tell they've tried to do real research, but haven't a clue really and still come up with loads of mistakes. Also they are being completely neutral on The Prodigy. No opinion whatsoever. the news thing about the live shows they have is completely neutral only based on stuff they have read on other places. then they have BGAT as single of the month, but just report a few facts about it, no opinions or anything about the track itself. seems a bit as if they were scared to judge the prodigy or havent a clue what they're writing about.
