Ekko,

Humor is good here, me thinks.
Your right though, their is no such thing as a rich student, only 'silver spoon' ones.

I sometimes wish the student days were still here, no money but no ties, sex with strangers(as long as they were female), good skunk!!!(Glasto 95,Phoenix 96, V97,ahh the memories!!!)

leave me to remonis guys

God everyones collection pisses on my firestarter promo album with firestarter on it three times, mind you heard that their aint loads of em about, so not to bad.

Someone offered me a 'Minefields'(as it was spelt then) promo cassette in 1996, but i dont know to this day how genuine he was, he said it had the XL logo on the front and just said PRODIGY
MINEFIELDS
and had two tracks on it

anyway he wanted one hundred fuckin quid for it!!!!
i was a poor student then...aaaaahhhh.

Arie,

Maybe my sarcasm was a bit out of order, for that i apologise.

But the only reason i gave you a bit of stick (jokingly) was you came over a bit more like a teacher telling off a naughty pupil rather than a board moderator(lol).

Hey, maybe i could be a careers advisor!!!!!!!

Sorry for about the misunderstanding once again.

hmmmmm,

the reason i posted that "rock n roll" was the real title for brainstorm is that no fucker else had and someone wasn't sure that what its official title was - i therefore cleared that up.

As for posting it in the wrong thread, must have got mixed up a little, i am very sorry wont happen again didn't realise that you have to have everything in its rightful place, bit of a perfectionist freak are you???

keep smiling ;D

Arie,

While you all trade insults about who's got the best collection,
I may be able to clear something up regarding this so called
"brainstorm" track.

It was actually titled "Rock n' Roll". Dont ask how i know this but i am 99.9% sure that was its live title(as it was never released).

I have a strange recollection actually that it was on a prodigy setlist scanned in a mag years ago(similar to the recent Q mag BDO one!).

Hope this clears things up

Martin,

completely chancing the subject, but is i right that you (since writing state of bass -jungle) know a bit about the scene, contacts, etc. as two of my close friends have been writing drum n' bass for two years and have twice appeared on "future music" compliations. Could i send you a bit of their work to see what you think?, they are currently doing a remix for Ian Robertson's next single(???) ,you might of heard of him, i aint.
anyway it would be nice to get some feedback from someone in the know, sort of thing.

p.s thought of another title:
2002: A Punk Oddessey.

Kepping with the military theme:

"Prodigy -  Squadron Leaders"

Do you or Liam now about wanting a particular theme Martin??? otherwise we are always gonna keep this army thing in the back of our minds whilst thinkin!!!

Also it would be helpful to know whether they will be shooting a video for this "proposed" single and the possible theme they might take as your book might be released roughly the same time?????

feedback would be great!!!

hmmmmm,

How about:

"Relevant Terrorists"

reference to Liam's claim that since they are back they are relevant as f**k to the music at the moment.

It might sound b*****ks, :-X but best for the moment, Martin
i'll keep thinking, in the meantime i'll piss off snowboarding for a year or two and get back to you(sound familiar, ha ha!!!)
