BGAT will have its UK premiere on Radio 1 on Jo Whiley' show between 10 and 12 on Thursday 16th May.

Apparently, contruary to popular believe, it WILL be played regularly during the daytime as the UK radio edit wont have any references to 'date rape' drugs.

Oh and the band are in Prague shooting the video(said so on brainkillers site!!!).

Come on guys your gonna have a wicked video to look forward to, you all know how much energy the band put into the videos espeically Keith and Maxim!!!!

keep smilin' ;D

Their is a Coachella review in this weeks NME magazine with a small Prodigy review and pic of Keith. NME are majorly kiss-arsing when it talks about the new material, i wonder who wants that first pre-single interview.....hmmmmm.

Anyway their is also a Kerrang! coachella review next week, with features on Prodge, Oasis etc.
It seems weird that Kerrang! are not getting involved on the Prodge bandwagon much lately espeically with the new direction Liam's going?????

RIGHT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN LISTEN UP!!!!!

If me, Arie and Juge have posted this once then weve posted this a thousand times...........
STOP JUDGING UNTIL YOU FEEL THAT BEAT, BASS AND ENERGY ON YOUR SYSTEM FOR REAL, NOT SHITTY MP3, THEN AND ONLY THEN DO YOU BECOME A PRODIGY EXPERT!!!!

I still remember my first gig, now remember yours, then tell me that say, that energy from 93,94 isnt their in 2002.
LIVE is what the Prodigy are all about, the records are simply a bonus or the "done thing".
I am not going to stop liking Prodigy because of a crappy recorded mp3, no the records are a representation of the live shows and you only feel that on a proper recording.

I aint heard any studio tracks of AONO yet, nor have 99% of you. so until then SHUT THE FUCK UP, and earn your right to an opinion on them.

Strong, but to the point

I'll be seeing yer.

oh and by the way.........keep smiling.

wow these lists are good, maybe liam needs these!!!

id agree with the Chilli Peppers, Tom Morello, Dr Dre and maybe Eminem isnt such a bad idea, a bit commercial but think of the mix of lyrics.

I think the neptunes would be good to produce with something with Dave Grohl would be obvious due to the mutual respect, but good.
Maybe System of a Down would be a good mash up, and certainly a big jump back from the downtempo new stuff.

Excellent topic lets here more,

Any chance of Lulu covering Serial Thrilla(lol)

I think it is yeah, their should be promo's out soon, it was meant to be on Mary Anne Hobbs' Breezeblock show on radio 1 last week but never got played, the lyrics may play a part in how much airplay it gets, "we take rhyronol, just to get it on".
(cant spell it but you should know what it is).

XL are making an announcement in the coming weeks, watch this space eh???

Got to say trigger at this point in time, that intro and then that pause then the bass pounds in, excellent!!!

however i have a feeling the studio version of BGAT will be fucking awesome............i hate to go for broke, but i think that will be the new single, trigger is the best live definately, but not groundbreaking enough for Liam as a single.

hmmmm...
..although a Liam G-prodigy collaboration is certainly a media wet-yer-pants idea, i thing Noel pulled it off with the chems so their is no reason why it cant work, i actually like oasis but i think they are now past their sell by date, and this collab. may breathe(no pun intended) life into his vocals. If it is to commercial or "poppy" then it wont ever get released, it happened with the Skin(skunk anansie) track, Liam thought that was to pop so ditched it.
If its good enough it will be released.

I think "we do what the fuck we want" was and is, only ever a live track in the same way Gabba, Ghost Town and Rock n' Roll were. I dont even think its been played since Sofia 99'.

Around 98/99 the setlist was getting a bit stale so they threw in a couple of quick tunes. 'Possible' future B-side, doubt it though.

Lets face it guys, most of us think the live recordings are pretty shit quality, some better than others, but the truth is none of them give you the really bass and energy that you get from a) being there or b)listening to studio versions.

We are lucky to have the 'inside' knowledge from Martin who to be fair, is probably the only person who's gonna here BGAT until its radio airplay about a month or so before its release.

Until then NO-ONE should dis the track until they hear it!!!

P.S Martin when is it likely the promo copies will be airplayed by radio?????

I disagree totally,

firstly have you experienced "Trigger" live?? Probably not is my guess.
I was privalieged enough to go to The Avenches gig last August with a mate
and heard the new tracks. Nuclear was dire i admit (to Sex Pistols for me) but "Trigger" was awesome. You know as any real Prodigy fan does that when you get that adrenaline rush when they do such a pumped up high energy track, well my friend "Trigger" was that.
I guarantee it being a hugh hit if it is realised
to long now we have had whingers and pesimists amongst these so called "fans".
Lets see what happens and enjoy the ride!!!!

Rumour has it that it might be "Trigger", hope so as that is definately the best of the new tracks!!!!!
Liam has said in an aussie magazine this week that they will release a single in quote, "the first quarter of the year".
So looks a good bet guys ;D

des c'mon man,

i sat down a couple of days ago, bored so i watched prodge in in Brixton 97'. Seeing Keith warble over the top of it was fuckin awful he sounds like a cat being fucked by a elephant!!!
But when your their you dont give a shit, your jumpin, dancin, trying to stare out maxim(last ones me, Reading 96!!!).

Listening to Breathe on your stereo and he sounds just like a cockney punkster, but with the right attitude for the song.
No- one could have done that or firestarter with any more attitude, were not asking him to have an angelic voice!!!
Im sure his recorded lyrics will be fine, not spectacular, it dont need to be, just right for the attitude of the song.

By the way im simple in my requests for my collection, just a good downloadable version of Release Yo 'Delf, (Prodigy Remix).
