Sometimes the W starts to make some scratchy noises when you give out too much signals. Are all outputs ok?
And I heard that the midi-ports are very susceptible to damage.

Maybe you can find some old disks, they're compatible to an old Roland disk-standart from that time, so they shouldn't be rare.

Yeah.. it's actually in very good condition.. I have tried to check it out.. and it works fine.. all keys are ok and so is the LCD-screen.. and there is no problem if something happens cause I know some peeps from Roland scandinavia and I think they can repair it easily Actually Roland scandinavia's office is in the very same building where I'm working I have been there several times checking their stuff.. nice shit

I have actually already find some s-50 disks and they work fine.. and then I have even manage  to transfer some own stuff from pc to w-30... aww

To be honest I bought it recently and I haven't had really time to get into it.. but yeah.. I'm planning to maybe buy some effects or some other stuff too.. only problem is that I just don't have too much time atm. I'm newbie in this stuff, but I hope I have some time to learn things and have fun

Right, have you seen Shining? My favourite film, btw. Alongside 2001. In fact I love nearly every Kubrick movie.
That crystal-like sound at the end that's repeated all the time, that's the one from the Title/beginning of shining and crazy man has got this like screamy one right behind the funky-shit sample at the beginning.
Plus, crazy man uses recycled smack my b. up sounds, but I bet you alredy noticed that...

Hmm, the version on Fat Of... has a different bass line to the version they used to play live, also different ending.

The breakdown of noises in the end of Funky Shit live version had to be removed cause the copyright reasons. Or if I remember correctly the The Shining-sample was too expensive to use. BTW if you listen carefully Crazy Man you can hear it there too

Lazy like me Anyway.. yeah I know the scroll is bitching.. I have also pretty good solutuon for that too.. just go to the "options"-page (bottom of the page) and then choose "Message order" (put newest on top). Now it's easier to chat and you don't need to scroll!

Yeh.. I have already been working with that chat thing.. there are so many peeps that cant use IRC.. so I have been planning to set up a chat really. And this conversation just proves that there really is demand for that. So, I think there will be a chat coming soon or something.. there are also loads of things happening with the pages.. I redesigned them 2 months ago, but I wasn't quite happy with the result.. now I'm working again with the layout. We'll see if something will be come out later
