That's why there are promotional items for instance. People who receive such an item would be able to listen to some if not all tracks. But such items have not been issued yet for any new material by the band and I know that for 100% sure.

And the people who receive those, are they just 'people' or are they somehow predestinated to listen to the promo?
Are they contracted in a one-time-hearing?
In the first case it would be just silly. You easily give some mp3's away and spoil everything, and since XL got a little such careful about spoiling...
It's too twilighted if you ask me.

I don't believe it either, but my reasons aren't the track-titles first of all.

I don't get why anyone should have heard parts of the album without mentioning who he actually is, that he experiences such a treatment. Of course it might be a journalist that luckily got a chance (remember how they played the complete FOTL in a barn somewhere outside ...errrr... was it Braintree? Nevermind). It's good promotion, but therefore his writing style is somewhat unserious and not imformative enough. If he really heard about at least 4 tracks, he could (and would) write a whole lot more than that tad of a crap.

And of course the titles suck donkeyballs!
What the heck is 'Ultraviolet Dream'??
This might get a little too far, but as long as I can remember  Prodge, I never heard such a silly songname! And I can't believe - don't ask me why, can't explain it - that Liam would title a track like this.
Or 'Power Fuckup', sounds just dull.

Man, how happy I were, if the damn record would just be out soon, no further guessing and hoaxing and shitting and whatever.

Hehe...

yeah, but would be even more commercial, no?
I' so pissed sometimes, when I hear good music in bad TV-trailers or something. Two days ago, a local TV-station had a trailer for some kinda bullshitty own production called "Rats - they gonna catch you", it was the worst shit ever. And that trailer was underlined with Prodigy's 'Rat poison'. Can't be.

Or the thirteen years old kids, when being asked "What are your favourite bands?" "Yeah, that would be Britney Spears, Eminem, Prodigy and Limp Bizkit."
Ahhhh! My beloved Prodigy packed together with a bunch of idiots and casted shit.

Anyway, I'm getting a bit over the line here.

Greets,
Ekko

Let's just look what the album will bring, maybe there's a deeper connection to the star and the whole military theme.

Btw., what do you all think about the feel of TFOTL?
I always found it was a little bit mysterious, coming from tracks like Narayan and Mindfields, also a bit wishful (Climbatize) but mainly just raw (Diesel P., SMBU + co).

I think the main attribute was just 'cool'.
As far as I can see that, AONO carries a feel like 'hard' or just 'rough' in it.

They don't need to match any standart.
It's no use to make that kinda rules or create goals for them,
see, I personally'd say FOTL is the match. Then there are people who think Experience is top notch and maybe even people loving that pre-everything stuff, like android, WEL and so on.
I just try to explain you that they'll be "respected and remembered" even if they don't fuckin do another MFTJG.

What does Keith hair has got to do with the seriousness of FOTL?

Liam already stated that Trigger & Nuclear were written in quite a short time and are no indicators for the new album, so no threat in sight.

Wellll, and I'd like to have the Equipment-section.
And since no one's having a talk there, I'd have an easy job.

Well, Arie, that was very good, thank you for the work.
But I understood (mainly by reading the following replys),
that it's just better to stay at the side at the moment, until the situation clears.

Greetings,
Ekko.

I cant believe what im reading on this site this
is a PRODIGY FAN site isnt it?????????????
I dont even know what to write back because
I just dont believe it.
Im from New Zealand and I just found out that
The Prodigy are playing LIVE at the big day out
and along side them The Crystal Method.
Could things get any better?
Hopefully by the time The Prodigy come to play
for their REAL FANS they will have a few extras.
Now im off to some real fan sites!

Hoho, you obviously understood a whole lot wrong in "being a real fan".
See, it does NOT mean to love everything the band does.
If they'd do a track without noise, YOU would surely love it, because it's so fucking extravaganca and  ... cool and... fresh!
But at the same moment you oversee that it's just total shit.

Else you did not seem like browsing very much here, since you obviously could'nt find what you were looking for?
("Real Fans", he? Good luck!)

And what exactly is it, that makes you not being able to write back because you're speechless?

Good bye wolf eater,
greetings, Ekko.

Yep, I'm also avidly looking forward to the upcoming single.
And even if I'm a little bit disappointed that it's not going to be 'No Souvenirs', I'm glad on the other side, since we now'll have some pure Howlettish shit to be released.

Mhhhhm.

Exactly. "Funky" is best fitting description I think.

Yes, right, it's not wrong to electronically punk.
But at the moment they are too pure punky.

No thing to discuss about, it's just a personal opinion.

The Prodigy releases / As we kick along.

I think the new material is a bit weak, compared to older Prodge-stuff of course.

It's hard and it kicks, but I miss the cool feeling of the FOTL-era, the new tracks do not carry that twilighted feel within.

They now became what everybody was already calling them 5 years ago, they became real electronic punks.

To me the two new tracks sound like being made in a couple of hours. I read Liam was not too serious about them, he told something like "no compare to the new album", if I'm right.
That's good news, since it schows his talent:
When having this two new songs built up in only some hours without standing 100 %ually behind them, what can we expect from the REAL new album...?

Greets, Ekko.
