KEITH FLINT is taking his hell-for-heather, fast lane lifestyle off stage and onto the race track...
Prodigy wildman KEITH FLINT just can’t slow down.
The spike-haired singer will take his predilection for life in the fast lane to ultimate extremes when he makes his superbike racing debut for Ducati's Reve Red Bull team at Mallory Park in the UK this summer. Flint has been having secret tests with the motorcycle racing team all this year and is now ready to race for them. "I've been down there testing most Mondays, Flint told NME.
"The people there have really helped me. Since I've been going, I've taken ten seconds off my lap times. They just tell you how to approach corners, how to brake later, things like that. " "It's fucking great when you're right down leaning into a curve and you've got your knee just barely above the Tarmac. Or when you get in a pack and you're all like, 'Get out of my way!' you know, jostling. It's better than the feeling you got putting your knob into your first pussy. "
Flint will be racing at speeds of up to 160mph, competing in what's called the Clubman's Race. The Prodigy's financial representatives are currently restructuring Flint's insurance policies to allow him to take part. The sport's danger is well illustrated by the fact that two of Red Bull's best riders are out of action after serious accidents at the start of this season.
However, the Ducati team boss Ben Atkins has faith in Flint's ability. He said: "He's the fifteenth member of the team. He's fetching wheels, changing tyres and working with the mechanics. He's a fantastic lad. The team has accepted him and he's going great. We're still bringing him on. "
