The lead singer of chart-topping band The Prodigy had a lucky escape in a 100mph crash yesterday. Keith Flint suffered cuts and bruising and was said to be"fairly shaken up" after the smash during an amateur motorbike race.
One track official at Mallory Park, Leics, said: "He was taking a bend at more than 100 miles per hour and seemed to lose control of the bike. It went into a barrier and he was thrown off. It looked really bad. "
"All the paramedics rushed over. Then 20 minutes later he came out hobbling and got in a car and was driven away. It was unbelievable that he was not more seriously injured. "
The band became one of the best selling acts in the world after their No 1 single Firestarter.
