I think you are mistaken. I only offer commercially unavailable music for download, which means that you cannot buy it in the shop, et cetera. If you cannot buy it, then how can this be ripping the artist off? Think about it... :)

The only difference from the album version that i can hear: the main synth/bass-loop (Liam live-jammin' on the 303) sounds a bit weak (like the decay is high and the envelope is low, and no distorsion). But the arrangement seems to be the same as the final version of "Funky Shit" (

I've heard that "Funky Shit" first was produced in 1996 or something.
But I got a live mpeg of "Funky Shit" that I think is from 1995.. Because Maxim is bald, Liam has short dark hair and Leeroy has blonde hair (and that glitter suite he used in the "Electronic Punks" video).
And since the release of "Firestarter", in early 1996, Liam coloured his hair blonde. And Maxim let his hair grow out..
So I'm quite sure the Prods played Funky Shit Live already in 1995.

Yes, I forgot to mention Squarepusher. Though everything he does is not so brilliant, for an example only 2 tracks were REALLY good on the last album.

There's another great artist I forgot to mention - Rasmus, remember the old bigbeat Rasmus? (not the crappy pop/rock-band that are  calling themselves "The Rasmus" or "Rasmus").
The one I'm banging my head to is the Rasmus who made the awesome album "Mass Hysteria" (UK, 1998, Bolshi Records).
He's on the Dirtchamber Session vol 1 for an example.

Though Rasmus lives in the UK right now, he was born on the same island in the Baltic Sea as me.
The general feeling on "Mass Hysteria" is quite similar to "Experience", a lot of crazy samples and there's always something going on. Tight beats and wicked melodies. I can understand why especially Liam likes Rasmus 'older' bigbeat tunes.

If you haven't heard the "Mass Hysteria"-album and are into acts like Crystal Method and Fatboy Slim - you just have to check out Rasmus.

Agree, wtf is this? Liam may have "changed" his style a bit since FTOL... but they're still into this clashy punky attitude - and it's even worse now - which imo totally sucks. Where's the cool almost relaxed viewpoint i could feel during their earlier albums...whats so frikkin cool about this new shit... When i watch the Spitfire video it feels like watching some teen band with fake attitude. New Prodigy are breaking my balls. I'm still here because of the earlier works, sometimes it's even hard to believe it's the same producer..

now i have, it rocks, sounds almost like miss kittin singin.. nearly like some International Deejay Gigolo type of electroclash stuff but more intresting. Nice 80's influences, fat beats as always, detailed production and much cool stuff goin on. Seems like Liam's fearfully manglin some ProTools plugs.
