i've got smack my bitch up (card sleeve) and dirtchamber sessions vol1 on import from a country i don;t know theres a picture of a piano with a circle round it with the word PIAS underneath it what country are these from

PIAS stands for Play It Again Sam. PIAS is present in several countries, but mostly in the Benelux. If you've got a PIAS Benelux release then it is most of the time written somewhere in the little letters, otherwise it will just state PIAS. PIAS is also present in Sweden for instance. A lot of the PIAS releases come from The Netherlands. This is also where they arrange the promotional copies. I hope this answers your question.
