wouldnt that be cool
YES. The Streets are absolutely brilliant. I don't think they'd go well with the Prodigy though.
is that the manic street preachers you mean??
cause i really can't hear/see them...
No, it's that guy with this Original Pirate Material - You're listening to The Streets - hook.
A bit uninspired songwriting if you ask me, but it seems to be a good working club tune.
The streets go way beyond Pirate Material. Have you heard their newest single? I can't remember what it's called. It's like electronic 2 Tone Ska type music. It's really fresh.
yeah you cant judge it off that one song, download 'Geezers need excitement' its a wicked song
I heard three tracks from The Streets now and honestly,
I'm not so much into this new HipHop-like stuff.
The tracks equal each other too much and it's too vocal based for my taste, I'm more the instrument-guy.
I'd like a collaboration with the Plump DJ's.
Just my 366762204 cents
Ive heard the whole OPM from the streets, christ I hate it...its all the same...a total snore fest
But thats just an opinion....
the plumps and liam would be totally awsome, really fantastic..a plumps night out was really tops...and also their underground mix album was pretty impressive
The Plumps would be about the only electronic artists being perfect to collaborate with for Prodge, imho. Okay, besides Massive Attack. With most others it wouldn't reach very far out I think. Might be cool, but not as weird as a collabo with a non-electric-artists like JImmy Page or someone in the likes.
Yes, that record really taught me that innovation can still be found in this genre.
Scram kicked my buttocks nearly as massive as B&E did when I first heard it. I remember having a female english DJ in the club over here, errrm, DJ Vela, right. She played about the whole record that night, and it so was a plump one!
I only heard a few tracks of this underground-album (at least I think they stem from it) and they are very very good.
Hope we get a new album soon.
They're on a cool label too, Fingerlickin', all artists being hosted there are premium class, I definitely should look around a bit again
i've seen the plumps a few times already: the f*cking kick ass man!!!!
they a REALLY GOOD, if yuo have a chance to see em live: just do it! (sorry nike)
Stanton Warriors would be cool. somehow I find break beat very interesting. they really should remix something for the Prodigy.
Yeh the warriors arent 2 bad at all, their style of breaks differs to the usual naf garage that were used to hearing, Zed Bias is another whos garage sound is quite dynamic and differs from the usual grage that were force fed to listen to on every radio station
Staton Warriors are pretty cool! Loved what they did to basement jaxx
Stantons' Essential Mix was soooo good. I've listened to it many many many times. personally I hate UK garage but Statons even make it sound cool. and they are performing in Finland this summer. jiihaa!!
