Happy hardcore is w**k!!!!, i still get twitches thinking about that 'toytown' shite.

It reminds me of dicks in kappa tracksuits with colour packs of about ten tapes all consisting of practically the same tune speeded up to about 200bpm.

Their is was absoleutly no genius in writing one of those tracks
It was 'take a sample and give it a fast beat'.

At least the early rave had a credible amount of work and style to it, i have respect for SL2, Altern 8 etc, for that era.

Sorry if that offends anyones taste, but it is a bollocks type of dance music and always will be IMHO!!!!

most of us have similar taste...well almost!!!

mines got to be prodge first(it may change, AONO we'll see?)
then Chems, Foo Fighters, RATM, DJ Shadow, Ian Brown(espeically that track with UNKLE, wicked!!!), Oasis, Supergrass, Manics, Pistols, Chilli Peppers, Orbital, Nirvana.

Cant stand: Bon 'Wanky' Jovi, Guns n' Poofters, all cheesy american rock, Nickelback are an exception.
Coldplay|(at first i liked then realise they are a good funeral band).

oh dear,

well at least the bass is better and sharper and keith sounds alot better but its not groundbreaking at all, i agree its not 'One Love' or 'Firestarter' in any sort of innovative way whatsoever ,but since all the dissing of the song started its actually overall better than i expected.

No consolation though :'(

the book, espeically the last quarter of it (which is the newest part) is excellent!!!!

the reason is it so good isnt just martin' writing skills but it kinda helps if your mates with the band, delving into the persona of each band member, etc. fantastic.

Good to see a mention for Juge, Neko and Bizgan (brainkiller) as well, all top prodge websites even if Liam still hates the net'

(P.S Martin, i got it in Waterstones on Thursday 28th, a day b4 general release wasn't it???)

Firestarter man,

stop being a girl!!!, the guys will carry on if the buzz is there.
You cant ask for more than that, i mean if they lost it and still made tunes for the sake of it(which they never would) then the tunes would definatley be s**t.

The impression i get at the moment is that BGAT is not the representation of AONO, I like BGAT, not love it admittedly, just like it, but i think it was a good release for the moment because its a real 'british sound' compared to all the american shite coming through at the mo.
For me the real stand-out track for me out of the new stuff ive heard is 'Trigger'. Cos' when i heard it for the first time it just blew me away, hairs on the back of my neck job, no what i mean. I always listen to this track on my live CD b4 anything else now, but i think 'Trigger', 'Nuclear' and 'NS' will be more like the bomb dropping.

dessy you do make me chuckle, ;D

'Cynical' is your middle name im guessing????

you whinge on about keef doing solo shit, as if your judgement means fuck all to either him or other fans,
you do have a right to voice your opinions, definately, i mean that really what the boards about, but isnt it just another case of saying stuff b4 you actually know whats going on.
Keith may try a different angle all together, so we cant compare it to prodge stuff, im mean fuckin hell it may be totally shite or possibly surprise us and be as good solo as Ian Brown(IMHO), we dont know, you dont know, end of. :-X

Actually dessy dont stop its keeps me sane listening to your rants, ha ha!!!! ;D

hey des,

Maybe Keith could sing "Cars" with Gary Numan and Liam could put a dirty breakbeat over it.
That would make your day, yeah????

It is funny Sakus and your comment brought a wee smile to me face, but remember the UK should have had the premiere first, the Finnish radio station broke the embargo on playing the record last week.(me feelin they gonna get a fine)

But hey, "fuck em' and their law!!!"
