Samples / One Sample from Trigger
March 29, 2002, 11:27:07 PM
Was listening to Dr. Dre - Chronic 2001,

In the song "Lightspeed" it has that "One One" sample, i assume thats where Liam took it from?

I think you only hear it once in the track.

Off Topic / Crystal Method

Are they big in your country?

They never seemed to make it in England for some reason, at least they get no press.  I find it hard to understand, their music is great, infact the people that i have played some of their songs to like them over the Chemical Brothers (! The brothers own them though!).

Also, who was it who was kinda talking to me about Orbital?
Can you give me some of their good songs (other than Satan).
I am slowly getting into their music, but the tracks i have downloaded still feel really 16bit and ugly :P

General talking / Fear of the new album
January 31, 2002, 09:52:13 PM
Only normal to fear it, you have to ask, 'what better can they do' etc.

a lot of people seem worried, which is so normal :P

but look at the way Liam is? He would rather quit the prodigy than let anything bad come our way.

Personally, i think it will own :)

General talking / Neko's Site - Message Board
January 29, 2002, 03:16:47 AM
Why not merge the message boards?

Neko's board sucks, this board rules.  So why not see if they can use this one as well? More users would be great (for both sites as well)

Heh, i gotta say, his vocals for me rock, they work really well.

Sure, his not got the most amazing musical voice in the world, but it works so damn well. Sarial Thrilla says it all :P

Tracks / Prodigy Remixes + Opinion on a song
January 03, 2002, 10:46:56 PM
Could we have a list of all Prodigy Remixes and B-Sides? (You may already have a B-Side list, i cannot remember.)

Again back on the No Man Army subject, no one really gave their opinion on the song - i am really interested in hearing them as well.  ::)

Satan is cool, thats in with Kirk Hammet right?

Crystal Method - (Can't You) Trip Like I Do, one of the older Crystal Method tracks, fuxing awsome song.

Chemical Brothers - needless to say they are one of the best, i would love to see the chems and prodigy doing some tracks together $

Fluke are okayish as well

True, i have Two Crystal Method albums, a lot of good stuff.

I dunno what the craze is with Orbital though, all the songs i have heard from them sound like 16bit car racing game music.

Hmmm, didnt the SMBU EP come out before the album was released?
If so, No Man Army is on that EP...........

Which means it could have been on the album?

Its an awsome song tho, not many talk about it for some reason, imho its easily one of their best tracks.

Tracks / No/One Man Army

I personally like No Man Army more than One Man Army - without the vocals the song just rocks.

Why oh why was this not on FOTL? It's easily one of their best tracks.

Just heard some of it, its fantastic, heavy beats, phat base.
Even Keith doesnt sound that bad, you guys really downered the song for me, thankfully i heard it before u completly fucked it up for me.

I love it, beats are sweet, some samples do sound a bit off but listening to it high, that only makes it better in a perverse way :P

I can honestly say i love it,

However, for a comeback single i think Trigger would have been better!!
