Oberheim Two Voice analog synthesizer

The Oberheim 2 voice was the first Polyphonic Synth designed for musicians. It first appeared in 1974. It had no memory and was quiet a limited Synth.

  • Oscillators - 4 VCO's (2 per voice) with sawtooth or variable-pulse waveforms
  • LFO - LFO is triangle wave only
  • Filter - (x2) Lowpass filter with cutoff and resonance. Can be modulated by the LFO, envelope or external sync
  • VCA - (x2) Attack, Decay and Sustain
  • Keyboard - 37 keys
  • Arpeg/Seq - Mini Sequencer (with 8 steps and 2 voices)
  • Control - CV / Gate
  • Date Produced - 1975-1979

In a reddit AMA on March 31st, 2015, Liam Howlett was asked, "Hi Master, is there any synth/gear you are addicted in?", to which he replied, "i rock analogue keyboards ,, oberheim 2 voice , arp 2600"

This is Oberheim Two Voice in Liam's studio during Invader's Must Die album recodings. That Puma whistle on it was a prize on online auction or something.
