The Prodigy have teased that their new album will be their best yet.
The band revealed that they were working on a new album back in 2012, telling NME it was tentatively titled 'How To Steal A Jet Fighter'. There has since been no further news on when the follow-up to 2009's 'Invaders Must Die' will arrive, but the act did play two new tracks 'The Day' and 'Rockweiler' at live shows in 2012 and 2013.
In a new interview with Gigwise, the band have teased the album again. In response to a question about what his favourite Prodigy release is, frontman Liam Howlett replied: "The new one you haven't heard".
Howlett also spoke about the band's forthcoming festival headline slots – which includes topping the bill at Sonisphere in Knebworth, alongside Iron Maiden and Metallica. The band previously played the site supporting Oasis in 1996.
"Sonisphere will be fucking louder and a lot more pushing and shoving I hope," he said. "We played under Oasis but way above Ocean Colour Scene and the rest of them. It was incredibly hard to go on after Kula Shaker, but sometimes you just have to hope for the best."
In addition to Sonisphere, The Prodigy will headline Global Gathering and Bilbao BBK Live.
